Very nice haiku – I can feel that wind. And the photo adds atmosphere as well. Thank you.

  2. Beautiful.. just on lighter note – but someone was there to click ..no more deserted..

  3. heeey, mine goes around the beach, too. I live by the sea and this really is a special place that reflects seasons very precisely with a mood of it own.
    Beautiful haiku!

I love deserted beaches, or deserted anywhere, so that I can walk alone without having to acknowledge anyone else’s presence. It’s not that I don’t like people, but when I’m walking in wilderness or on beaches or in forests, I want to give my full attention to my natural surroundings, and not be interrupted by someone’s cheery, “Good morning!” (It was a good morning, until you disturbed the silence!)

  7. Wow! Deserted beaches … I love them especially when the strong wind blows. To see the rolling waves … wonderful.
